After having won Motogiro of Italy with the Benelli, Tartarini aligned himself more and more to the Ducati brand, becoming one of the leading pilots of the Bolognese house. Tartarini’s passion for motorbikes was not limited only to competitions. His world tour in the saddle of a Ducati 175, together with his friend Giorgio Monetti, will go down in history: sixty thousand kilometers in one year, from September 30, 1957 to September 5, 1958, the two of them crossing 42 countries heading toward every kind of adventure.
