TULLIO MASSERINI

Born in Bergamo, February 13, 1938, Masserini began his career in 1957, in the reliability trial specialty (today endurance) and he immediately became Italian Champion with his Gilera. In the 1960s he participated with good rankings in the reliability/speed competitions. Over the years, he became president of Motoclub and sports manager of a racing team. Since 2001, he has been vice-president of the Gilera Historical Register. The winner of the Motogiro 2002, he decided to auction his first prize – a special version Ducati SS 750 – for charity.
